The meeting was headed by Listen Up producing director Bess O'Brien, who, along with co-producer Mitch Barron and clinical storytelling consultant Sarah Lowry, led the group in discussion about what was important in their lives. The meeting began with a viewing of the short documentary Making of the Voices Project , detailing the process of 's hit musical and previewing the road ahead for Listen Up. The group then got down to business discussing ways they might be able to reach other interested teens. Ideas included whole school assemblies, after-school workshops and activities during advisory periods. The teens in the group also discussed how social media could be used to interest more kids. The adults running the meeting got a crash course in the features of Instagram and Snapchat, and the group decided to start a subcommittee of social media-savvy teens to run Listen Up's social media accounts.

There will be two camp sessions this year, the first will be held June at Pine Creek Camp in Pine Village, Indiana Warren County serving the northern part of the state. The camp provides a very meaningful experience and relationship with other campers from throughout the state and sheriff officers who serve as counselors and instructors. The Sheriff announced that arrangements can possibly be made to provide the camp registration fee through a local business or civic organization for anyone interested.
Tina Sauerhammer addresses the class of Today the Brown County Teen Leadership Class of received their leadership certificates, equipped with skills to successfully lead throughout their future. A class of 34 students from 10 Brown County area high schools were at the culmination of the program, but the beginning of their leadership journey.
